Around fifty employees at BioWare are being let go, with the rest presumably moved to different teams. As a result, the next Mass Effect game that was teased years ago has been canceled. And in other news, a new report from Bloomberg suggests the new Xbox Project Helix console could cost as much as $1,800 if Microsoft decides to not subsidize or eat the cost of some of the components.
