"Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered is a delightful throwback to a bygone era of lazy weekends past that will give you back as much as you're willing to put into it. The roster isn't huge and there isn't a ton of solo combat, but this rubber suit rests atop a deceptively deep combat system, and smashing these monsters together like action figures, especially with friends, never gets old. I wish it gave you access to more of it out of the gate rather than hiding so much behind unlocks, but if you vibe with Destroy All Monsters Melee’s old school style and its gameplay is your kind of monster, there’s more than enough here to keep you happy. Sometimes the old ways are best. Go go Godzilla."
